The Little Traveling Library is an outdoor traveling free library to assist senior citizens during the time of Covid-19 who want access to new books in outdoor spaces in Missoula.

The library will be set up on two Wednesdays every month starting in December. The second Wednesday of every month will be at Pine-view Park and the fourth Wednesday of every month will be at Play-fair park. Both Libraries will be from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The idea of bringing free books to seniors during this time of Covid-19 is an attempt to brighten up their lives through the power of literature. Each outdoor library will have a plethora of books representing a variety of genres.

There will be a station for people of all ages to create a book bundle as a gift for a senior in their life. The book station will have twine, cards and lavender to personalize each bundle. The library will have strict Covid-19 cleaning policies and will be a drop off station for Missoula community members to donate books at each outdoor library to support the greater cause.
