Three generations who believe books matter

Hallie Gaddy

Hallie is a sophomore in high school and has loved books from a very young age, she often enjoys visiting free libraries in neighborhoods.

Robyn Gaddy

Robyn Gaddy has spent her life in education, and as the director of Sussex School she sees first hand the value of passing time in the literary world and how reading can lift the spirits of all people.

“During this time of Covid-19, good stories can create good feelings and connection to the written characters on the page can possibly shield the loneliness that a pandemic can cause. “

BJ Reed

“ I cannot live without books.”

“Thomas Jefferson captured my sentiment exactly. As an English and history teacher for twenty five years and avid reader of all genres of literature, I know what books can do for anyone. If I can share my love of reading through a little traveling library, I will consider my life well lived!”
